A light lotion that absorbs quickly. Glycolic Acid is a fantastic skin clearing, anti-aging agent that seems to do it all. It is very effective at exfoliating skin which helps reduce fine lines, prevent breakouts, fading dark spots, increasing skin thickness, and evening out skin tone and texture. Using Glycolic Acid does increase sun sensitivity, so the use of Sunshade 30 or 35 is a must to prevent additional sun damage.
Facts about Glycolic Acid:
Glycolic Acid is most beneficial at a strength of 8% or more with a pH under 4%. Glycolic Acid is derived from sugar cane and is the smallest AHA, so it’s the acid most effective at penetrating the skin. New clients should use Glycolic Acid every other day and increase gradually to daily use.
Directions: Use 2 to 3 pumps after your treatment serum.
